MOBILITY & STRENGTH
I have learned over the years that physical practice must be SMART - EFFECTIVE - SAFE
To do this, it is necessary to equally develop flexibility, strength and consequently good joint mobility.
Static active flexibility is the ability to assume and maintain extended positions by activating the agonist muscles and allowing the antagonist muscles to lengthen. While it may seem very difficult and tiring at first (and indeed it is), over time we learn to develop motor intelligence, we actually become more flexible and avoid unnecessary injuries.
